Been here a ten day's now

Well, I arrived on the 8th of Feburary at 09:37pm, after setting off from Manchester at 6:00am. That's such a long journey, with two changes, one in Edinburgh then a two and a half hour wait in Inverness, I was met by the community taxi. After a half hour drive, I was at Badenellach, a place I now call home.
The next few day's, I got used to the cold weather at night, no signal on my mobile phone, no internet, how to let out the chickhens and ducks and feed then and lock then in for the night, taking the dog Bella out three to four times a day. I even got a "As Salaam Alaikum" from one of the locals friend. I found out that the butcher in Thurso can get me Halal meat (it costs a bit more than I'm use too, but were I was in Manchester there were plenty Muslim's)
All in all, its not to bad, so far. I have the Internet know and I can get a signal for my mobile here and there, but outside. So, now i'm a happy bunny.
